| I love the Lord with every fiber of my heart, mind, body, soul, and strength! God is so good! I've been in church since Nixon was president!... lol...I've always felt that God has a special calling upon my life. I've been a Sunday school teacher, a Children's Church teacher, the coordinator of the "AIM" Support Group for those in need, and I sing in the Athens UPC Choir. God has been my tower of strength throughout the corridors of my existence. Although I never left God or the church, my dovorce left me feeling somewhat in the wilderness experience and "tried" to lower me to the valley of doubt, but praise the Lord...in God's power, HE resurrected me onto the highest mountain of faith.
Things I enjoy:
1. worshipping the Lord to the fullest
2. being a participant in a fervent Holy Ghost prayer meeting
3. church activities
4. children are a blessing (sure glad mine are grown, tho)
5. baking "Fresh" homemade loaf bread...mmm, scrumpteous! Yes, I make it from scratch!
6. flowers, hummingbirds, paraplaning, photography, sewing
7. walking in the park, along the beach, or in the woods, traveling, fishing, camping, cooking on an open fire, motorized paraplaning, iceskating olympics, baseball, football
8. holding hands with that "someone special"
Things I Dislike:
1.being too highly minded to be of any earthly good
2. a saint that always gives advice, but never listens
3. a haughty, proud spirit
4. screaming at or being cruel to children
5. cruelty to animals
6. grasshoppers, crickets, June bugs, and waterbugs |

| The name is Joshua Smith, I am 21 years old and I was raised in the truth. I have been through some valleys in my life, but that has only made my relationship/ faith stronger. I recieved the holy ghost when I was 11 years old. I am very active at my church where I co-lead the Junior High age group, and help out with the youth group and visual and ushering depts. I have a burden for youth ministry, and am just letting God use me. I didn't know my father growing up and my mother passed away when I was 20, so i like to take my past and use it to help kids that come from broken homes as well. | Apostolic. Like to enjoy my time off from work. I enjoy most anything that includes water. (fishing swimming floating canoeing,and riding waves in Fla.). I was a sunday school teacher and youth leader for ages 13-23. I really loved working with kids. I have 2 kids(both married).I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh(most of the time at myself).I have no intentions of growing old gacefully!I don't look my age (and don't act it either)hehe.

I have loved the Lord every day of almost 14 years since that time. Drug abuse and adultery forced me into the difficult decision of divorce almost 4 years ago after 5 years of marriage and I now have full custody of my 4-yr-old son. I am so blessed today to know that my brightest days are ahead of me. I am thankful for hurts in life for they are the best opportunities to draw close to Him. I have always been a worshiper for it is where I get my strength. I am very active at my church and I enjoy singing and playing the saxophone as worship during services. I work with our music minister with the music and sometimes write songs. I also enjoy helping the Sunday School with their artwork and love to be involved in Vacation Bible School. I am raising my son to know the love of God and how to share the gospel of truth with others in love. |

| Does anyone really know what to say here... I guess if you want to know something you will just have to ask. I am 28 and loving every minute of it. At this point in my life I am no where near where I desire to be, but continue and strive to grow closer to God daily. I love to travel and to minister the word of God. I would have to say, Africa is definetly the greatest of places I have been! God is truly the greatest thing in my life and nothing could take that place! |
