| 44, divorced after 8 years of marriage (first and only). I got married while out of church from age 18 to 39. When I got back in church 5 years ago, the marriage slowly deteriorated due to our different beliefs and desires.
I am striving to be the Christian the Lord described in His "Sermon on the Mount" and all those things His apostles wrote about after they were converted. I love outreach and mingling with those who don't know truth, even if it is very frustrating at times!! I love kids and do bus ministry at our church and help with kids service (puppet, prayer) on first Sunday.
Just looking around at this point. Sometimes life gets quite lonely and my guy friends just don't cut the mustard for companionship, no matter how anointed they are!! lol! |

| I'm in my mid-thirties, divorced, and am a fairly new convert. My journey to the apostolic faith is a long and interesting story. I'm still learning and trying to understand some of the teachings and principles behind them, but I am open-minded and willing to learn. I received the Holy Ghost at age 22 and was baptized in the named of Jesus Christ in April of 2007. I have a dry sense of humor and enjoy trying new things. I like to travel, meet new people, and spend time with close friends. I'm a singer, pianist, and songwriter and am called to the evangelistic ministry, a call for which I'm still looking for direction as to how and where to fulfill it. I love people, even those that some would consider unlovable, and my heart's desire is to see as many people come to the knowledge of the truth as possible.

| Well, I just recently went to Abilene Christian University and went to an independent church called Apostolic Lighthouse while I was there. Now, I am back home. I love going to church. I love singing. I love worshipping Jesus. Anyone in the church that knows me will tell you that I am a prayer warrior and a worshipper. I bring a lot of my friends to church. I really want to learn how to play the piano well. I think I might want to go to TBC, which is a UPC college in Lufkin, not this fall, possibly the next. We'll see though, I'm really not sure. This year I am just going to work and maybe go to a community college half time. It's so weird to imagine working a regular job to me, because it's not about money, you know? I just want to be used my God and do what He wants me to do. I love my friends and I love being there for them.
