| oh wow, i never like doing this but i guess i have to.lol. well im a 31 year old single dad of a WONDERFUL 6 year old boy named TY. we are just your averasge "run of the mill" country boys.lol. we LOVE God first.i have been preaching since1999. have evangilized at different times, now just working at my home church, trying to be a help to my AWESOME pastor. we like four wheeling, mudding, hunting (especially duck hunting), fishing, renting movies and chillin at our house with popcorn and snack sized snickers and a softball fanatic. i work for the city of camden at the water department. just started back in jan. before that i traveled and worked all over the south east with my dad cleaning up after natural disasters. God has blessed me with a great job so that i dont have to be away from ty. i have been divorced 3 years and just feel im ready to meet the woman that i can serve God with and spend the rest of my life with !! | I'm an affectionate person who loves holding hands, kisses and being close to my partner.. I do have a quirky side and a dry sense of humor (think Bob Newhart).. I'm really looking for someone who "gets me" and allows me to be myself.. I try to accept people for who they are and encourage them to be their best.. I want to know that my partner and I are better as a couple than we are apart.. I tend to be very trusting in a relationship and hope that, that is not taken for granted..I need to know that my partner is totally secure with herself and confident in who she is.. I tend to shy away from overly aggressive people who feel better by putting others down.. The bully mentality just doesn't work for me.. A lot of people tell me that they're inspired by the way I live my life and my ability to "give back".. I feel that we get out of life what we put into it..I have no difficulty expressing my thoughts and feelings.. In fact, when I am in a relationship, I want my mate to have a comfort in understanding where I stand mentally and emotionally and not waste her time trying to guess.. As you know sometimes the lil' hit & miss guessing game can lead to both parties feeling quite frustrated.. | I'm a Christian. I want to make heaven one day. I don't really agree with the concept of online dating/matchmaking, but I've decided to give it a try. I come from a large family (4 sisters and one brother). I love them all dearly! I'm the oldest of a tight knit bunch. My sisters and mother are all sweet, beautiful, independent women. We were raised in a loving home and the idea of "family" is very important. My parents married out of HS and have been together for 25 years. So, I've had a perfect example of what it takes to go the long haul. Though my family is not apostolic they do consider themselves "Pentecostals".
I went to Clemson University for two years and ran out of money so I've worked construction since then. This summer I've decided to go back and finish. I just completed my 1st semester back at Midlands tech. I will be transferring to a 4 year university(Clemson or USC) to finish my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
I do believe I have a call to the ministry. I believe in time, God will open the door. I love to sing. I can play a little piano and am getting better.
At this point, I'm not ready for marriage. I'm looking for someone to build a friendship with that will last! That is what it's all about, right? |
